Math is seen everywhere and in everything we do. In fact we must have played many games which involved maths during our childhood. Hopscotch is one such game. It has many physical, social and cognitive benefits as well as it enhances mathematical skills that are beneficial for the child. \r\nChildren of class 2 played the Skip-counting Hopscotch Maze and the following questions puzzled them:\r\n• Where to throw the dice?\r\n• How to jump through the squares?\r\n• Which feet should land in which square?\r\nThere was a lot going on including brain-stimulating thoughts as well as physical work which made this game a great way to stimulate cognitive development. This game also enhances the Gross motor skills like balance and strength.\r\nThe children reinforced what they had learnt through this activity and were able to recall the concepts of odd numbers, addition, Subtraction, Even numbers, Table of 2 and 3 etc.
