The only way to learn mathematics is to do mathematics.\r\nACTIVITY 1: QUESTION MANIA - Usually teachers come up with the questions in the class during the sessions and seek responses but on the second day of the Math’s week, it was the other way round. The teacher came up with the answers and asked students to frame questions related to the answers through Question Mania activity. It was quite surprising to see that for one answer; a variety of questions were provided by the students of class 6. Through this activity the students were able to obtain, interpret, and use knowledge, facts, and data to build up the questions and demonstrate creativity and inventiveness either individually or collaboratively.\r\nACTIVITY 2: In another activity the students of class 5 were divided into 5 groups and were given riddles to solve for which they got the fraction as their answer. Then they took the chart paper to draw the fraction they have got as their answer. Students utilised all the concepts studied so far such as factors and multiples and DMAS.
